5 Things You CAN Do to Learn More Efficiently

Everybody wants to finish tasks and graduate with good grades effortlessly. The truth is nothing was made instantly except for God when he created this world. There's few things you do can do. Here are 5 things that can make you learn efficiently.

1. Set realistic specific goals
Your brain doesn't like to follow unspecific commands. Phrases like, "I must finish this English task before the due date" gives the brain too much room to tolerate and postpone on doing the task. Therefore, you will be more likely to procrastinate, doing the task in the final day before the due date.

Set timed goals mean that you must set a very specific time limited goal. For example: You have a Science Project Report that you must finish in a week. Set the goal that you must finish it in 3 days, no matter what happens.

2. Compete with others
Your brain tends to work harder when you have another person doing the same thing you're doing, in other words, competition. Make a race with your friend at your peer group.

For example: At the same time you get English, Mathematics, and Social Studies homework to be submitted the next Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. With your friend, race on who can finish all three before the weekend first. This might seem strange. You must have the friend which struggles on finishing tasks too.

3. Minimalize distractions
There are so many different kinds of things that can easily distract us from learning. Your smartphone, another unused book/sheets on your table, pictures on the wall, all can easily distract you from your homework. Charge your smartphone in another room. Tidy up your table so that nothing unnecessary was on the table. Tidy up your room so it looks more pleasing to the eyes.

If you ever needed smartphone... Nope, you will not need it. It's just lazy people's excuses.

4. Prepare well
Learning was a time-consuming, energy-draining task. You better use your time when you are at the fittest to learn.
Eat enough, have a good night sleep. If you are exhausted after school, having a short half hour nap was never a wrong move. It's useless if you learn just half an hour longer if you can't concentrate on anything all the way.

5. Keep track on all your task
It's useless doing all four when you forgot on what should you do. Take specific notes on the subject, the objective, the due date, your own created due date.

For example
Subject                 Objective              Due Date    Must Finish
- English - Write an Autobiography - 18 August - 16 August
- Science - Exercise pg. 171-178         - 25 August -  20 August
